The garden, with a surface area of 12 ares, is an old orchard planted by my grandfather and we have gradually invested it since 1986. Narrow and long, it is situated at the back of the house and a pergola shaded by a magnolia tree and a trellis makes the transition between the courtyard and the garden. A long grassy path winds its way to the end of the grounds, bordered by beds of mainly perennials, roses, spring bulbs and rusty or zinc objects telling their little stories. A quince tree with a remarkable trunk is admired by all visitors. Designed and created by four hands, this garden is meant to be relaxing, alive with the diversity of foragers and birds, guests of this place, and evolving with the seasons and our favourites.
