Master potters from father to son, the Ernewein-Haas family has been shaping the clay of the Haguenau Forest for several generations. The majority of the pottery is still turned by hand using traditional methods. In addition to the traditionally decorated pottery, you will also be able to discover a new and original collection in bright colours, created by Jean-Louis the potter and Harmonie Begon, a graduate of the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg. The little extra? Next to the pottery, outside, don't miss the opportunity to take a picture of yourself at the wheel: the potter has created this place especially for you! The shop is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 12pm and from 1.30pm to 6pm; Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm. The pottery opens its workshop for free visits from Monday to Friday. Guided tours from Monday to Saturday morning, by reservation, in French, German and English are offered for groups of 10 to 60 people (2€ per person). School groups are welcome. Possibility of training courses for students or others by appointment, dates to be arranged in advance.
