European Heritage Days - Visit to a 12th-century medieval residence

The Maison Romane is the oldest preserved dwelling in Alsace, and indeed in France! A small, luxurious building, it is the best-preserved example of medieval urban architecture in Rosheim.

It was in this type of comfortable house that the town's leading figures lived: knights, representatives of religious institutions and wealthy merchants.

Take a trip into their daily lives over the course of these two days!
