The pathway leads from gardens enclosed by trellis and boxwood borders to the foot of spectacular trees, from the vast orchard criss-crossed by alleys to a small wood. It skirts the medieval rampart and follows the meandering stream uphill and it ends at the White Lady nymphaeum.
