Hiking Trail Around the Castels

This hiking trail from the Tourist Office takes you immediately to the Castle of Wangenbourg. You can visit the turn wich is 24m high (open from April to October) and enjoy the panoramic view. Through a small bucolic path you will cross the river Mossig, blocks of Pink Sandstone from the Vosges to Kittelfels, and finally arrive at the Castle of Freudeneck (which is being restored). Continuing on your way, you will pass Rotfels (picnic area) and go up to the center of the station in Wangenbourg.
