At an altitude of 1110 m, the Grand Ballon Farmhouse-inn dominates the Alsace plain, along the Peaks Route. The GR5 which leads to the peak of the Vosges passes by its door. This walk, departing from the Farmhouse-inn, lasts around 1 h30, without any particular difficulties.
