The rich musical activity in Alsace has brought to light composers who were born and lived here, or who have gone on to make careers beyond the region's borders. This recital will (re)discover a repertoire of varied and contrasting musical aesthetics, set to texts in French, German and Alsatian. Musicologist Paul-Philippe MEYER will punctuate this musical kaleidoscope, introducing and contextualizing the composers and their works.
