The area between Col des Bagenelles and Chaume de Lusse was the scene of major clashes during the "Great War" of 1914-1918.
These two hikes invite you to discover the uniquely diverse remains brought to light by the work of the Association Mémoire et Patrimoine Militaire du Val d'Argent. Some structures can be visited, but don't venture into the underground galleries! Be sure to bring a flashlight.
This is also a hike that is often proposed by the Pays d'Art et d'Histoire du Val d'Argent on Thursdays during the summer as part of its summer outings.
