Si l'Avent m'était conté

Show presented by the Groupe Folklorique de Hunspach Christmas scenes from the past will be re-enacted by 8-10 adult couples, around ten children and 15 musicians from the Groupe Folklorique de Hunspach. Until the early 20th century, December was a very special time in the countryside. The calendar festivals of Saint André, Sainte Barbe, Saint Nicolas and Christmas played an important role in social and family life. People looked for answers about their love lives and worried about the weather and the coming harvest. We're looking forward to a pleasant evening during the Advent season, a time of sharing, hope and peace. Reservations are essential and payment must be made before 22/11, preferably by cheque made payable to Paroisse Protestante, 2 rue du Presbytère, 67480 Roppenheim. Opening at 6pm.
