" Meet Saint Nicholas for children of all ages! "
On 6 December, children and adults alike gather to cheer on Saint Nicholas.
Wearing a mitre, holding his crozier and dressed in a long red or purple coat, he rewards the most deserving children.
With many legends and miracles to his credit, Bishop Saint-Nicolas of Myre is the protector of children, widows, the weak and prisoners.
He was the only one to neutralise the dreaded Hans Trapp, putting an end to his terrible crimes.
